Feedback during the presentation:
- The ribbon doesn't look like a live usable feature. Visual changes (3D, drawing it as a button, showing arrows, etc.) and making a more intuitive hard-coded status message will help. "Clustering" is not a verb our participants understand.
- The missing functionality has impacted our tasks. We need to get things built.
- When demoing to the participants, we should demo the ribbon.

Why should you demo the ribbon?
By limiting our initial demo task to just stuff in the contact list - I think we really made it seem that the contact list is all there is to the UI. This idea is reinforced by the lack of visual cues about the ribbon that we had incorporated at the time of the study. We need to be careful not to be leading with our demo tasks, but also not to be too limiting either.
To be honest though, the screenshot of that UI used in the presentation today was not up to date with what that homescreen looked like during the study. There was additional info at the time - though we intend to make more changes to address this.
